Karen is a Brain Injury Counsellor with Brainkind, working at Graham Anderson House Rehabilitation Service in Glasgow.  Karen is a BACP-registered person-centred counsellor with over 13 years’ experience supporting individuals with acquired brain injury (ABI) and their families. Working within specialist brain injury rehabilitation settings, Karen provides psychotherapeutic support across healthcare contexts, focusing on empowering individuals and families to process complex changes, reconnect with identity, and find meaning and resilience following their injury.

 

Karen's practice is grounded in person-centred principles, with a strong emphasis on integrative practices, interdisciplinary collaboration and holistic care.  Karen is passionate about advocacy and education, and contributes to conversations around improving support systems for people affected by ABI and their families.
