Over 300 guests and 28 exhibitors attended our Head Injury Information Day in Edinburgh held at the Sheraton Grand Hotel on 29th May 2019.
This is the third year we have held the event in Edinburgh and the theme this year was ‘Overcoming Obstacles’ with speakers focussing on the various difficulties often faced following a brain injury and their advice on how to overcome them.
Attendees were able to hear from a number of inspirational speakers about overcoming behavioural problems, discussing issues claiming Personal Independence Payment (PiP) and hearing about the day in a life of an ABI survivor – to name just a few.
In addition they were able to visit a range of exhibitor stands who were there to share information about the services and support available to someone following a serious brain injury.
