Volunteer Co-ordinator, Euan’s Guide

Claire started with Euan's Guide as a volunteer in 2017 and later in 2019 started employment with them as a Volunteer Coordinator. Having being born with a form of Muscular Dystrophy, Claire has been able to use her lived experiences of having a disability within her role to encourage and support their volunteers.

Euan's Guide was founded by Euan MacDonald MBE and his sister Kiki MacDonald OBE after Euan was diagnosed with Motor Neron Disease and they discovered how the lack of disabled access information made every day experiences stressful. Euan's Guide was then born after discovering that other disabled people experienced the same challenges and a platform was needed for everyone to share their experiences.

Join Claire to hear about how their website EuansGuide.com allows thousands of people to visit new and exciting places without worrying about what accessibility barriers they will face when they get there, and how you can get involved.
