My name is Emma Feesey. I am living my life after a traumatic brain injury. I am adapting my mind, body and spirit to my changed brain. I am adapting to the world. I am adapting the world to my existence. I live a good life; there is joy and meaning in my existence. However, I wish the world would adapt to me, without my having to explain, negotiate, or push on through.
