Lynsay Stewart

Paediatric Major Trauma Coordinator, Royal Hospital for Children, Glasgow

With a strong foundation in diagnostic radiography and a wealth of paediatric care, Lynsay currently serves as the Paediatric Major Trauma Coordinator at the Royal Hospital for Children, Glasgow. Prior to taking on the role in 2020, Lynsay worked extensively as a Paediatric Diagnostic Radiographer, with a particular focus on MRI. Over the years, she has held several roles within radiography, continually demonstrating a commitment to advancing clinical practice and patient care. Driven by a desire for new challenges, Lynsay transitioned into trauma coordination, bringing with her an understanding of imaging and its crucial role in paediatric trauma management.

More recently, Lynsay competed a postgraduate qualification in Child Protection, further cementing her dedication to safeguarding vulnerable patient populations, a particular area of professional interest.

Outside of work, Lynsay enjoys spending time with family and friends, planning future holidays, and staying active at the gym.
