Dr Mar Matarin Jimenez
Consultant Clinical Neuropsychologist at Graham Anderson House
Dr Mar Matarin is a Consultant Clinical Neuropsychologist at Graham Anderson House in Glasgow. She has more than 19 years of clinical experience in public and private health settings, including at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, the Frenchay Brain Injury Rehabilitation Centre, and the Hospital Vall d’Hebron, Barcelona. She has worked and published extensively in academic research institutions, including posts held at the National Institutes of Health, USA, and University College London. She currently holds the positions of Honorary Senior Lecturer at the University of Glasgow and honorary research fellow at University College London where she researches various neurological disorders using genetic, cognitive, and behavioural approaches.

Her research interests include the identification of biomarkers for neurological diseases, predictors of challenging behaviour after ABI as well as developing better rehabilitation tools and support for the individuals with neurological disabilities and their families.
