Country Manager, Music Services Scotland Nordoff Robbins
Mary Brown studied music at Edinburgh University studying oboe and piano, before completing her postgraduate training in music therapy with Nordoff Robbins in London in 1994. Since then, she has worked in Scotland as a music therapist in Edinburgh, Fife, Stirling and Glasgow, and has worked with Nordoff Robbins Scotland since 1998.
Mary worked as Executive Director for Nordoff Robbins Music therapy in Scotland for 10 years, and now works as Country Manager, Music Services (Scotland) developing music therapy services across the West of Scotland.
She is passionate about developing Nordoff Robbins music therapy, making it more accessible to those who need it, as well as continuing to develop her own work with people with learning disabilities.
