Following on from the success of the first Edinburgh Head Injury Information Day last year, this year’s event took place on Wednesday 23rd of May 2018at the Hilton Edinburgh Grosvenor.
Over 200 people came along to learn more about brain injury and the support available to those with an acquired brain injury (ABI).
There were over 20 exhibitors at this year’s event including Edinburgh Headway, Brain Injury Rehabilitation Trust, Case Management Services, Compass Brain Injury Specialists, Complex Injury Network Scotland and Scottish Nursing Guild. All of the exhibitors were there to share information about the services and support available to someone following a serious brain injury.
There were also a number of presentations throughout the day which were incredibly popular with attendees.
